Hannah Yeoh & Her First 30 Days

On March 7th (Friday), a day before the 12th General Election (GE12), Hannah posted her post-election plans and visions in her blog stated the certainty of a DAP Subang Jaya branch regardless of the election result, and the conversion of her campaign operation center into her service center if she won.

On March 9th (Sunday) 3am, the result of the votes have told to her that Subang Jayans do support her cause.

GET ON TO WORK IMMEDIATELY
Unlike usual winners of any competition or election, Hannah did not have big scale celebration party (might be a waste of money to do so) or take a week vacation to enjoy her victory. She straightaway started working on fulfilling her visions and plans, and of course, her promises to Subang Jayans.

The very first task of hers was to setup the Service Center as she has promised.

FIRST DAP SERVICE CENTER IN SUBANG JAYA
In just 5 days after the GE12 on March 13th, she announced the official opening of her service center in SS14 beginning March 18th. So, in just 10 days after the GE12, Hannah marked her first fulfillment of her promises with the commencement of her service center on that Tuesday evening.

DOMESTIC ISSUES
In this past 30 days, Hannah has actively involved in several events and activities in relation to Subang Jaya's domestic issues. She has also started to work with MPSJ to tackle the Subang Jayans' issues and problems. She made her first appearance in MPSJ weekly "Mesra Rakyat" session on April 4th. Exactly after a month after winning the Subang Jaya Constituency, she walked straight into another battleground : the fight with DENGUE menace, and initiating the "10 minutes clean up your surrounding" this Saturday, April 12th.

POOR & NEEDY
While tied up with battling the domestic issues, Hannah did not forget her promise to look out for the needy group in our township. She visited Angsana Flat in USJ1 on April 7th and spent 3 hours visiting widows and orphans. She has also started "humanity initiative" with her calling to all Subang Jayans to help these families and collating the offers of aids with the best way to help them.

MANY MORE ON THE WAY
If you still have her campaign brochure with you, you will certainly say : "THERE IS STILL A LONG LIST TO GO". Well, she agreed. In her interview by SJ Echo, she has spelled a long "to-do-list". In her words : "I do not believe that our role is to do everything, even right down to settling domestic issues. Issues that fall within the ambit of my work, I will handle efficiently and speedily."

WELL DONE & KEEP IT UP !!!
It was only 30 days. To many workers who just started a new job in a new company, it was only the first pay cycle and was still on "learning phase". For Hannah, while she is learning to be our ADUN, she has started her contributions to Subang Jaya even though was still insignificant in the beginning. What we'd like to say here is :
"YB Hannah Yeoh, Well Done @ your first month! Keep it up!"

30 days are too short for someone to proof herself - at new job, new role and new battleground. It'd be too soon to judge her performance by comparing to those "experienced"
ADUNs.

Nonetheless, she has been demonstrating her capability, commitment and contributions through her deeds in the past 1 month. To a new ADUN, I think she has done well!

Bravo, YB! Kudos to Hannah & Team!

It's a good start of your job to eradicate dengue in Subang Jaya but I notice that the spotlight is always at USJ3 - USJ 16 "the high end neighbourhood" for fogging and currently in SS14/18.USJ 1 area(after Giant, near factories) is also quite bad. There are overgronwn grass that is not maintained by MPSJ. I used to live in one of the apartments opposite the factory (USJ13/1) and I have not seen MPSJ fogging that area during my entire stay. Mosquitoes love moist area and this happens when I hang out my wet clothes to dry - just after an hour I could see 20-30 mosquitoes resting on the clothes. The road to the factory area is privatised and the owners do not want to fork out money for maintenance. I hope that you could help us on this.
