DAP Perak : Siva Retracted Resignation (updated)

NEWS EARLIER TODAY
March 31 - Early today, newly-elected Perak ADUN A. Siva from DAP has announced his resignation from all DAP official posts and quite the Party with immediate effect today. He was unhappy that DAP Perak did not keep their promise to allocate two (2) State Exco posts to Indian ADUNs. Only one (1) single Indian was appointed to Perak's State Cabinet.

The news details were available at:
MalaysiaKini (members only) http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/80617

Subang Jayans were concerned that it looks like Non-Race-Based Politic is still quite a challenge in Malaysia even among Barisan Rakyat. Nonetheless, we are moving towards this direction as proven by our votes during 12th General Election. Therefore we urge : Let's continue the Change and never Quit !

LATEST UPDATE
Nevertheless, hours after the news breakout, A. Siva has then announced that he retracted his resignation and it was purely a misunderstanding. We hope he understood that the Rakyat of Perak has chosen the parties in Barisan Rakyat not based on the composition of the Races but rather the capability and the integrity of the parties. Most importantly, it was because of the Multi-Racial composition of these parties instead of the Races that they represent (like BN). Otherwise, what's the difference of voting Barisan Rakyat instead of BN?

Let's continue to Change ! Say NO to Race-based Politic !

The platform for DAP must be very clear. Multiracial. If Siva chose to resign because of race, I think he is in the wrong party.

From Malaysianniger,
First i want this Mr.Siva to understand that you are not a hero, till you are made as one by the people who has voted you.Pls don"t make this Indian community to look like fools just because of you.Yes to me what has happan in this election is a great change in this Community lifes.Pls set and talk and make the leaders to understand.Pls do not be another Hero like Samy Veloo who has not done anything till now to this Indian Community. But you who have got the chance to proof that you are not that type of fool and who can make the change for this community,so pls don" make us look like fools too.I am very sure that the leaders will lisent to us.Pls works as one and proof that you can and will be able to do better then others.
Malaysianniger will say this to you.You don" need an army, what you need is your brains.

Good that such writeup appears on your site. It shows maturity and focus.

Mr. Siva, I understand your frustration, but I believe even with just one Indian in exco, the Indian's right will be protected and respected by everyone. The fellow non-Indian excos after all, are there with the Indian's vote!!

Indeed, it is very challenging to form a new political landscape towards non-racial base, but bear with it, hold on to the faith that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Believe in the rakyat, who believe and voted you!! You can do it, Mr Siva!! So please, continue to serve the rakyat!!

siva,
i'm indian myself and you need to know the quota has always been 6-3-1... now u joined DAP because its multiracial, so why you screaming about only having 1 exco as indian? u should scream if they only give DAP 1 exco seat. BTW how much they paid you to retract resignation?
