DAP Perak : Siva Retracted Resignation (updated)

NEWS EARLIER TODAY
March 31 - Early today, newly-elected Perak ADUN A. Siva from DAP has announced his resignation from all DAP official posts and quite the Party with immediate effect today. He was unhappy that DAP Perak did not keep their promise to allocate two (2) State Exco posts to Indian ADUNs. Only one (1) single Indian was appointed to Perak's State Cabinet.

The news details were available at:
MalaysiaKini (members only) http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/80617
Sin Chew Daily (Mandarin only) http://www.sinchew.com.my/node/59866?tid=1

Subang Jayans were concerned that it looks like Non-Race-Based Politic is still quite a challenge in Malaysia even among Barisan Rakyat. Nonetheless, we are moving towards this direction as proven by our votes during 12th General Election. Therefore we urge : Let's continue the Change and never Quit !

LATEST UPDATE
Nevertheless, hours after the news breakout, A. Siva has then announced that he retracted his resignation and it was purely a misunderstanding. We hope he understood that the Rakyat of Perak has chosen the parties in Barisan Rakyat not based on the composition of the Races but rather the capability and the integrity of the parties. Most importantly, it was because of the Multi-Racial composition of these parties instead of the Races that they represent (like BN). Otherwise, what's the difference of voting Barisan Rakyat instead of BN?

Let's continue to Change ! Say NO to Race-based Politic !

Subang Jayans, Let's Join Earth Hour 2008

SYDNEY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN 2007
On March 31 2007, for one hour, Sydney made a powerful statement about the greatest contributor to global warming – coal-fired electricity – by turning off its lights. Over 2.2 million Sydney residents and over 2,100 businesses switched off, leading to a 10.2% energy reduction across the city. What began as one city taking a stand against global warming caught the attention of the world.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE YOU CAN MAKE IN 2008
In 2008, 24 global cities will participate in Earth Hour at 8pm on March 29. Earth Hour is the highlight of a major campaign to encourage businesses, communities and individuals to take the simple steps needed to cut their emissions on an ongoing basis. It is about simple changes that will collectively make a difference – from businesses turning off their lights when their offices are empty, to households turning off appliances rather than leaving them on standby.

SUBANG JAYANS, LET'S LEAD THE CHANGE
We'd like to invite all Subang Jayans to join us and this global conservation event. You can do the following from 8pm to 9pm on March 29 (Saturday):-

1. Turn off all the lights. You can come out to the street if you are scared of dark. In fact, it'd be a great scene from the air or tall building to see the whole Subang Jaya in darkness.
2. Turn off all air-conditioning and fan. You can go outside of the house / building if you need cool air.
3. Turn off TV / Astro / Radio / DVD / VCD and PC / Laptop and... whatever entertainment applicances. It'd be a good time to catch up with your family without these distractions.
4. Turn off any other electrical appliances that you'd not require to use.

Nonetheless, we do not encourage you to turn off your refrigerator because it will cause more electricity (hence more heat) when you turn on after an hour. It may take 15-30 minutes of "hardwork" (high usage of electricity) to "cool down" again.

Preserve our Environment for our Future and the Future Generations!

Know Your MP : Loh Gwo-Burne

He burst into the limelight during the V. K. Lingam Royal Commission hearing as the man who shot the video. Loh Gwo-Burne was again in the limelight when he stood as a candidate for the Kelana Jaya parliamentary constituency against the highly-experienced Datuk Lee Hwa Beng and emerged the victor.Days have passed since and naturally, people are curious about the 34-year-old newcomer to Malaysian politics. The Malaysian Insider speaks to the UK-born businessman-turned-politician who did not vote in the elections he ran in and won.

Get to know more about your MP, fellow Subang Jayans! Read this exclusive interview with YB Loh at The Malaysian Insider : Loh Gwo-Burne in his own words .

Raja Petra Lost Suit : War on Bloggers Begin?

MARCH 26 - High Court Alor Star has ordered blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin, group chief editor and editor of PKR’s Suara Keadilan to pay a total of RM7mil to Universiti Utara Malaysia and its vice-chancellor Tan Sri Dr Nordin Kardi for libel. The order was granted after Raja Petra and the tabloid's representative or their counsel failed to appear in court.
Nordin told the reporter that his action would inspire others including politicians and artistes to take legal action against people who abused blogs. "Those who indiscriminately hurled slander in their blogs should also take this as a lesson that they would not escape the law."

Read more details at The Malaysian Insider.

"Actually, Nordin did not win his case. It was the other way around. I 'threw' the case." Check out Raja Petra's explanation at Malaysia Today.

Will this trigger the war against the Bloggers? Subang Jaya is known of producing famous bloggers - Raja Petra, Jeff Ooi, etc. Looks like Subang Jayans have to pay attention to the development of this "war". Let's see...

No Quit-Rent for Places of Worship

MPSJ : RM 1,000 ANNUAL PERMIT
On February 18th, an article in The Sun has revealed that MPSJ draft local plan proposed to introduce Annual Permit of RM1,000 to all shop and factory lots used for worship purposes. It was reported after Seputeh MP Teresa Kok issued a statement urging the churches in MPSJ to take serious concern on this draft plan and former Subang Jaya ADUN Lee Hwa Beng responded with 'clarification'.

TIME FOR CHANGE
Our ADUN Hannah Yeoh was gripped by this issue and poured her thoughts on her blog : The Cost of Free Workship. Here quoted "The Federal Constitution clearly provides for an individual’s right to profess and practice his religion. If there is a need to apply for permit, we immediately assume a possibility of rejection. Freedom to practice one's religion is violated the moment a law is imposed to restrict such freedom." She ended the statement with a calling to the Rakyat : "Time for Change".

On March 8th, Subang Jayans did the change. Today, we see the first positive effect.

FIRST STEP : NO QUIT-RENT
March 26 - Today, our new Selangor MB Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has announced that there will be no more quit rent and assessment rates for all registered places of worship in Selangor, and a token annual fee of only RM1 will be introduced instead. Even though this is only limited to registered places of worship at this stage (which there are probably only one Buddist Temple and one Church in Subang Jaya 'qualified'), this move shown that the new Selangor Government (Barisan Rakyat) is more caring and considerate to religious matters.

MORE TO COME ?
Since these two decades, it has been difficult for religious organizations to apply land for temples and churches. Many have to use shophouses and factory lots as places of worship. Most are still required to pay quit-rent and assessment due to the places occuppied are under commercial or industrial lands. As religious places are non-profit based, it'd help the Rakyat of these religious bodies greatly if the quit-rent exemption can be extended to the shophouses/factory lots temples/churches. We hope that YB Hannah can bring this up to the Selangor Government and State Assembly after she has sworn-in formally as our ADUN.

Subang Jayans, thank you for the CHANGE !!!

Time to Go Beyond the Old Taboos (Farish Noor)

Over the past weeks since the Rakyat have voted for a stronger Opposition force in Dewan Rakyat (82 Opposition MPs) and handed over 4 State Governments (Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor) to Barisan Rakyat (DAP-PAS-PKR), many issues surrounding the choice of leaderships were surronding on the race and religious background of the Parties, Leaders, and Representatvies. While the Rakyat have chose to move towards a "Malaysian-Malaysian" Malaysia through their votes, these recent dramas have shown negative and disappointing scenes.

From the Chief Minister in Penang, to the appointment of Menteri Besar in Perak, and now the Deputy MB and the number of State EXCO in Selangor DUN, the leaders in the Nation are still restraint by the race and religious background of the individuals in the appointments. Instead of performance, talents and ideology, the "kaum" element still supercedes the earlier which are more important in the selection of leaders and representatives.

"We need a new Malaysian politics that would breathe new life and faith in the political system, and where all of us – mainly on the basis of our universal citizenship – can claim to be stakeholders in the nation-building process."

Dr. Farish A. Noor, a renown writer and commentator has recently published an article "CMs, DPMs and PMs: Time to go beyond the old taboos" commented on this matter with great awakening message to the Rakyat and the Leaders. Read the article at http://www.othermalaysia.org/content/view/167/52/. Mandarin version available at Merdeka Review http://www.merdekareview.com/news.php?n=6317.

Boycott Main Stream Media

A CALL TO BOYCOTT MSM
"From 24th March, 2008, commence a boycott of all the MSM for a period of one week! I urge that if at the end of that one-week boycott, the MSM continues to unjustifiably attack our YBs, we resume our boycott of the MSM for a longer and more sustained period!"

WHY BOYCOTT ?
During the Election Campaign of Hannah Yeoh, there have been various callings to the Subang Jayans to boycott the Main Stream Media (MSM) because MSM were not being fair and independant in their news coverage. In particularly the BN-controlled MSM such as Utusan, Berita Harian, and NST (UMNO), The Star (MCA), Media Prima (TV3, NTV7, 8TV, TV9) have been over bias and being instrumental for BN to broadcast their news, ads + messages. Worst of all, RTM - being the Government news media instead of BN news media - have been broadcasting numerous negative ads about the DAP-PAS-PKR leaders and short documentary praising about BN-Government achievements.

Therefore, in conjunction with Haris Ibrahim's calling, Hannah's Political Secretary Edward Ling has call out to the Subang Jayans again to boycott the MSM especially the "lying newspapers" for a week starting 17-March to 23 March 2008.

JUST NEWSPAPERS ?!
We must acknowledged that not only the newspapers were bias and "lying", the TV and Radio channels too. If you were one of those who were relying on the TV channels to bring news on the Election Result on 8-March to 9-March, you must be one of the confused and frustrated viewer : every SMS you received was about BN loosing seats, every phone calls you got was about DAP or PKR winning crucial seats, but here you heard only BN-winning news on the TV. That's why we only could rely on the Internet Independent Media such as MalaysiaKini to provide us newsfeed on that night.
Therefore. the boycott should not be limited to only the newspapers, but to include the RTM1 and RTM2, TV3, NTV7, 8TV, TV9, Bernama TV (Channel 502 Astro) and all the related Radio Channels. The most effective one might be : BOYCOTT NEWS HOUR (e.g. 8pm) and GOLDEN AIRTIME (e.g. 8pm-10pm). If you do not have other means of entertainment but TV, then, you should at least just STOP WATCHING THE LYING NEWS !!!

ALL NEWSPAPERS ?
Most would ask : are all Newspapers lying? Well, at least those who read Chinese dailies may opposed. So far, the Chinese dailies have been covering lots of Opposition news, interviews and write-ups even though not in a complete balanced manner (not 50:50, but at least 60:40). They have no choice but to advertise BN's ads since they have been paid for. Also, their licenses were under the control of BN-led government. Nonetheless, their "daring" coverages on the Opposition have worried many that these Chinese dialies may faced "punishment" after the Election if BN win big again, just like the suspension happened to Sin Chew Daily in the 80's. In fact, Chinese dialies may be one of the main winning factors to the Opposition due to their fairer, wider and more independant news coverages - Opposition should thank them instead. At least the Chinese dialies could used words such as "BN Lost Terribly" and "5 States Given to Opposition" as their Headlines publicly.

ONLY A WEEK
What would you loose for not reading or watching unfair, bias, and lying news for a week? What would you gain from reading or viewing sad, disappointing, and heart-troubling stories for a week? Just for a week : 17-March to 23-March. As we could teach BN a lesson, we are sure that we can teach these MSM a lesson too.
Let's boycott the MSM together this week !!!

Double Standards Police

PENANG : UMNO STREET DEMO
Yesterday, 500 Penang UMNO members and supporters went on street demonstration at Komtar to protest against new Penang CM Lim Guan Eng's recent statement on abolishing the New Economic Policy (NEP). They were "allowed" to went on the street to air their grievances over the policy that only benefited the UMNOputras, rather than all Bumiputras.

SELANGOR : UMNO STREET DEMO
Also, 100 believed-to-be UMNO members and supporters also went on street demonstration with the Banners "Kerajaan Baru Selangor - Boneka Kepada DAP", "Terhapus DEB-Melayu Merempat Di Bumi Sendiri" and "Tahniah Melayu DAP Yang Berjaya Hapuskan DEB" around Shah Alam State Mosque yesterday. There were "allowed" to have this demonstration even though the banners were clearly racist and may jeopardise racial harmony.
POLICE : DOUBLE STANDARD
Despite of all these illegal, unlawful and racist demonstration, none of them was "welcomed" by water gun or tear gas. None was detained, none was charged, none was claimed to be terrorist, and none was locked up under ISA. They were given the "Freedom of Speech" and "Freedom to Gather" without permit despite of racial remarks were made.

While BERSIH made up of Rakyat from all races and various organizations including NGOs went on street last November to ask for clean and fair election, hundreds of roadblocks were setup and thousands of FRUs welcomed the Rakyat with tear gas and water gun.

When HINDRAF went on street to ask for basic rights as citizens, the Government caught many, detained the leaders under ISA, and even claimed peaceful Malaysians in HINDRAF as terrorists without evidence and lawful hearings.

Police working for the Rakyat or the UMNO?
"Freedom of Speech" allowed for all Rakyat or only UMNO members?
NEP benefiting only UMNOputras should retained?

Selangor State Officials Destroyed Document

News from Sin Chew Daily 2008-03-10 17:50

(Shah Alam) State Officials of former Selangor Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Mohamad Khir Toyo have returned to State Government Office to pack but also destroyed some official documents.

Newly appointed Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abd Khalid Ibrahim arrived at Level 19 the building at 2.35pm for a close-door meeting with the former State Secretary and Tresurer.

Around 3.15pm, there were 5 to 6 officers at Level 12 started to destroy some documents. Level 12 was believed to be the Admin & Management division.

Party members of PKR and DAP immediately rushed over to stop the activity, and insisted that these documents are state property therefore must be retained regardless of the contents.

After the "destroy-document" exercise was stopped, the documents were scattered everywhere. According to sources, some of them were minutes of meetings, and some were marked "confidential document".

Subang Jayan's General Election 2008 Awards

After the long, restless, and exciting 14-days of battles for General Election 2008, we are finally at the end of this battle. A new journey has begun as the Nation embarked on a new route - a new term without BN 2/3 Majority, a new term with 5 states under Barisan Harapan, a new term where all Malaysians are standing together for CHANGE!!!

As we ended the General Election 2008 journey here, we'd like to present the Subang Jayan's General Election 2008 Awards as a concluding chapter.

The Barisan Rakyat Category
Most Popular Victory
Undoubtedly, the Subang Jayan's Most Popular Victory Award winner is none other than our very own Hannah Yeoh (DAP), newly elected 29-years old ADUN for N31 Subang Jaya constituency, who has won with a great majority of 13851 votes. We now have a young, clean and crime-fighter ADUN representing us in Selangor State Assembly!

Most Unbelievable Victory
The made-popular candidate from Lingam's video, Loh Gwo-Burne (PKR) has defeated former ADUN of Subang Jaya, Lee Hwa Beng (MCA), with a majority of 5,031 votes in P104 Kelana Jaya constituency. Despite of inexperience in politic (and corruption), the man of integrity has won the Parliamentary seat which many claimed impossible for him to defeat the long-rooted, widely-known Lee Hwa Beng.

Most Glamourous Victory
Incumbent Teresa Kok (DAP) is again elected MP for P122 Seputeh constituency with a great majority of 36,492 votes (the highest in the nation), defeating new candidate Carol Chew Chee Lin (MCA) who insulted all Malaysian women with her sexist election posters. Terasa is also elected ADUN for N30 Kinrara constituency which also covers part of USJ area (USJ 16 onward). While she is marching in with the rest of the Opposition MPs into the Parliament, she is also marching in to the Selangor State Assembly as the Ruling Coalition.

Most Difficult Victory
Undeniable, one of the toughest battles of this election is at the P106 Petaling Utara battlefield where new candidate Tony Pua (DAP) is facing incumbent Chew Mei Fun and the heavy machineries of BN (especially MCA). Despite all the BN's promises, big gun's visits and jamuan makan malam, the Petaling Jayans have elected Tony Pua as their new MP! A day before the Election, we were even told that Tony Pua might not be able to make it due to BN / MCA unstoppable, continuous bombing! But he made it with a large majority of 19,972 votes.

Most Challenging Victory
The most-big-guns-visited and most-celebrities-visited constituency should be none other than P121 Lembah Pantai - for a simple reason : Nurul Izzah Anwar (PKR) was the Candidate for its MP, and she is the daughter of former Deputy PM Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Both PM and Deputy PM plus many artists including Mawi have visited Lembah Pantai to help incumbent Shahrizat Abdul Jalil (Minister for Women, Family and Community Development). Nurul has to face lots of challenges as UMNO was doing all it could to stop Anwar and family to step foot in Parliament. Despite all the efforts, Nurul won by a majority of 2,895 votes.

Most Heart-Warming Victory
The Most Heart-Warming Victory Award must go to Manoharan Malayalam, the newly elected ADUN for N48 Kota Alam Shah. Despite of his absence from the constituency due to being unlawfully detained under ISA since Hindraf movement, the Rakyat of Kota Alam Shah have bravely stood up for him and voted him as their representative to the State Assembly with a significant majority of 7,184 votes! We salute to Kota Alam Shah!

Most Lonely Victory
Incumbent Chong Chieng Jen (DAP) is again elected MP for P195 Bandar Kuching constituency with a majority of 9,952 votes. However, he is the only Opposition Candidate that won a Parliamentary Seat in the state of Sarawak, that made him loneliest winner in Sarawak.

The Barisan Nasional Category
Nonetheless, there are some awards to be awarded to BN Candidates too, as Subang Jayans are always generous, not selfish and not stingy.

Most Popular Defeat
Incumbent Samy Velu (8-term MP, MIC President, Work Minister) was defeated on his birthday by new candidate Michael Jeyakumar Devaraj (PKR) with a majority of 1,821 votes in P62 Sg Siput constituency. Undoubtedly, all Subang Jayans (might be all Malaysians too) are cheering and celebrating for his defeat now. "Finally, he is gone!" Some would said. Unfortunately, he has just stated today that he'd not resign from MIC President post.
Most Unwanted Victory
Khairy Jamaluddin (Deputy Chief of UMNO Youth, Badawi's son-in-law) was elected MP by a small majority of 5,746 votes in P131 Rembau constituency (48,390 voters). With his corrupt reputation and arrogant attitude, what a great disaster to the Nation to have him in the Parliament! We wander who'd he jump at next?
Most Gentleman Defeat
Koh Soo Koon (former Penang Chief Minister, Gerakan Acting President) was defected by new candidate Ramasamy Palanisamy (DAP) with a majority of 9,485 votes in P46 Batu Kawan constituency. Also, Gerakan has lost all the seats contested in Penang. Yet, he has acted as a great gentleman by congratulating his opponent and DAP Penang State Chief openly also willing to take the responsibility by offering to step down. He also performed very steady and gentleman when he invited the press together with new Penang CM-to-be YB Lim Guan Eng in his office yesterday.

Here are the 10 Awards from us. If you have any other suggestion / proposal, please feel free to leave a comment.

Parable of the Lions and the Wolf

CONFUSED? PUZZLED? UNDECIDED?
As the Polling day getting close, rally after rally, news after news, there are many getting puzzled on the choice of the Government they want. Due to BN's race-based political influence and news blast, many non-Malays are doubting whether there is any difference between electing PKR led by Anwar or BN led by UMNO, likewise many Malays are wandering whether they should give a chance to DAP led by the non-Malays.

A friend of ours just took the effort to translate this Parable from Mandarin to English and shared with us and we think it is very helpful to these group of voters especially those who are on the indecisive line whether they should really VOTE for CHANGE because they don't think there is a difference and they think both are not good enough.

PARABLE of THE LIONS & THE WOLF
The Creator put 2 large flocks of Sheep in the field, one in the North, one in the South. He also given them 2 types of Enemies : one is Lion, the other is Wolf.

Choices Given
The Creator said: "If you choose the Wolf, I will put one on your land. It will eat you as he like, but he is smaller size than the Lion therefore smaller appetite. If you choose Lion, I will give two Lions but you can choose which Lion to be put there and you can change it anytime you want."
So, if you are one of the Sheep, which one would you choose?

Choice Made
Well, the flock in the South thought : The Lion is more violent than the Wolf. Better choose the Wolf. So, they chosen a Wolf. The flock in the North thought : even though the Lion is more violent, but we get to choose which Lion. So, they chosen two Lions.

Immediate Outcome
The Wolf entered the South and started to hunt for the Sheep. Due to its small appetite, it ate only a sheep in a few days. Therefore, the flock will only be hunted once in a few days.

In the North, the Sheep chosen one of the Lions, and the other Lion was placed at the Creator's place. The Lion was more violent and bigger appetite than the Wolf. It ate one sheep in a day. Therefore, the flock has to run for their lives every day. So, the Northern herd quickly asked the Creator to switch the Lion. But the other Lion has starved for a few days therefore more appetite than the earlier Lion. The Sheep has to run for their lives all day long.

Immediate Regret
The Southern flock started to laugh at the Northern flock and felt glad that they have chosen the right enemy. The Northern flock has regretted and asked the Creator to change the enemy to the Wolf. But the Creator said : "Once you have made your choice of your enemy, you cannot change. Your only right is to make a choice between the Lions.

So, the Northern flock has to keep on switching the Lions. But both Lions are violent, therefore they were suffering with either choice. At the end, they finally decided not to change regularly since they were the same : they kept one of the Lion with them until the other one is starved until so thin and almost dead then only they switched the Lions.

Realization
Soon, the thin Lion realized that its fate was in the hands of the Sheep. The Sheep can send it back to the Creator anytime they wished and let it starved until almost dead. So, it treated the Sheep very well this time. It promised that it'll eat only those that are sick or dead and it will not harm those healthy ones.

The lambs were very happy and suggested to keep only the thin Lion and let the fat Lion starved to dead. An old sheep quickly reminded them : "Do not forget, the thin Lion is afraid that we send it back to the Creator to starve, that's why it is nice to us. If we let the fat Lion die, we will loose our choice and the thin Lion will be back to its true colour." So, the rest thought he is right therefore they switched the fat Lion back after it is starved to almost dead.

Better Outcome
The fat Lion is now so thin with only skin covering bones. It also realized that its fate is in the control of the Sheep. In order to stay with the Sheep longer, it even be more self-controlled : it ate only those dead sheep and being very nice to the Sheep. It just wished that it can stay longer here instead of starving at the Creator's place. So, the Lion that was sent back to the Creator was very very very sad. After all these trials, the Northern flock finally can enjoy their lives with freedom and fearless to the Government. (Look at the Western countries like France, Australia & States)

Worse Outcome
As for the flock in the South, the Wolf has no competitor therefore it became wild and hegemony. It killed the Sheep in tens and twenties daily - it was sick of the mutton and now would just enjoyed to suck the warm blood. When sucking the blood, it didn't allow the Sheep to make noise. Whichever make noise, it'll kill them. Sometimes, it will just hunt the Sheep and killed them for fun. The Southern flock now regretted : "If we knew it'd be like this, we should have chosen the Lions." (Aren't we now regretted too?)

It's Time to Make Your Choice!
Now, our fellow friend, 8th of March is the chance for us to make our new choice. You can choose to be like the Southern flock- like what the choice we have made for the past 50 years (choose BN the Wolf), OR you can choose to be like the Northern flock - Vote for Change, Change the Government to Barisan Rakyat (the Opposition) - just like the Australians, French, and even Americans ! If you are not happy, you can switch in 4 - 5 years time.

What do you loose? It'll never be worse than our first choice which we have suffered for 50 years. In fact, it'll only be better because YOU FINALLY BE THE BOSS! YOU CAN CHOOSE! They'll have to be thankful to you and serve you well!

Please spread the word around. We have been hearing Ah BeNg spreading messages that casting doubts to the non-Malays on PKR and to the Malays on DAP. Share this parable with those who are in doubt of the Opposition. Do not hesitate anymore! Do not FEAR anymore! It's time for Change!

Vote for Change! Vote DAP! Vote PKR!

News Coverage on Hannah Yeoh & Ceramahs

Despite of record-breaking events taken place at DAP Ceramahs in Subang Jaya on 1 March and 3 March, there were very few coverages on the mainstream media. As we all know, they are mostly Ah BeNg's machineries.

As Hannah has highlighted in her Blog :
"The mainstream media has chosen not to give coverage to this even though many of the mainstream reporters and journalists were present at the ceramah. But first-hand stories and photos from those who were present are all over the Internet now, another one of which is reported in Malaysiakini.com - Crowd unfazed by heavy downpour."

So, here are some of the places where you can get information and coverages on DAP and Hannah's movement, events and views on the internet.

Mainstream Media Coverage
By the way, besides The Sun, we were told by a Subang Jayan that he has also written in to a Chinese mainstream media last Sunday (after 1 March Ceramah) questioning on lack of coverage on the record-breaking and nation-shakening events taken place in Subang Jaya.

A few hours later, the media posted the news on 1 March Ceramah at USJ12 with the quotes on Mr Teng Chang Khim. Subsequently, there was a Hannah's interview write-up posted a day later followed by 3 March Ceramah coverage both on the internet and the printed papers. Check it out if you can read Mandarin or share with your friends who preferred Mandarin write-up :

Nothing Can Stop Subang Jayans to Change (March 3)

Tonight is the Night ! Many Subang Jayans have been talking loud the whole day today ! Indeed, it was !!! In fact, it's another RECORD-BREAKING night for Subang Jaya !!!

NEVER-QUIT FIGHTER
At 9pm sharp, at least 3000 people were already gathered despite it's a working day. The Ceramah began with Tan Kok Wai - 5-term MP for Cheras! Even though unwell, the overwhelming crowd has stirred his spirit and boosted his energy. By sharing various issues, he again demonstrated the conviction and the commitment that DAP representatives have for the People of Malaysia : NEVER QUIT FIGHTING!

THE FIGHT CONTINUES
As the crowd growing larger to at least 6000 people when approaching 10pm, Gobind Singh (DAP Candidate for MP Puchong) has brought the mood of the Ceramah even higher. Regardless of races, everyone in the crowd embraced the cry of "Makkal Sakthi" (which means People Power) together with Gobind. He has proven that all races can stand together to fight for equality for all !

HEAVY DOWNPOUR
Despite of rain started around 10pm, no one is willing to leave during Gobind's talk, even it was then turned into Heavy Downpour... Everyone started to open up umbrellas (Subang Jayans are prepared!!!) and started sharing with the people around them irregardless of races and dialects. A young couple even passed us their spare umbrella even though they do not know us. Who said the nation is not ready for change? Who said Subang Jayans are not TOGETHER? This indeed is a Record Breaking night for Subang Jaya - at least 3000 people were still waiting in the rain for the next speech!!!

The crowd started to disburse after the MC announced suspension of the event until the rain stops. Yet, most of the people still mingling around and waiting for the rain to stop. No one is willing to leave! Soon as the rain slowed down, everyone returned to the stage for various other guest speakers including Gwo-Burne (PKR Candidate for MP Kelana Jaya).

OUR CHILI PADI : GETTING HOTTER & HOTTER
Our ADUN-to-be Hannah Yeoh has spiced up the heart of everyone with her heart-warming yet powerful speech. Committing to the promises she made, Subang Jayans are convinced that the VOTE must go to none other than her! We must elect a representative that can protect the right of the people including women and children. Unlike the opponent of Teresa Kok in Seputeh Carol Chew of MCA who uses cheap shots at woman's expense to gain support (see http://www.hannahyeoh.blogspot.com/). How could we trust MCA women to protect our women - our grandmas, our moms, our sisters, and our daughters?
"I will be transparent to you!" Announcing the record-breaking donation collection from the Subang Jayans for her Campaign amounting RM31,000, she has proudly demonstrated the great example of a ADUN should be : Transparency ! Integrity ! Clean ! Ah BeNg would never be able to do that !
Also, another reminder and warning from Hannah : Ah BeNg have started their dirty tricks! They started threatening the People with May 13th AGAIN ! We heard from from Ah BeNg candidate in Petaling Utara ourselves! We wander : where these Ah BeNg were not detained by ISA? They are creating social unrest and chaos! Not the 5 leaders of Hindraf!
If you missed Hannah's speech, please visit http://elluminate.blogspot.com/ for her speech video clip. Thanks to John!
ARRIVAL OF THE PEOPLE'S HERO
Finally, the waiting was over around 11.40pm with the arrival of the People's Hero, Mr. Lim Kit Siang. Even with the lost of his voice, his words and voice have went deep into the heart of everyone with the HOPE for the People and the Change for the Nation.
"Remember the BN manifesto in 2004? BN said they will be Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang. - But i'll say they are Temberang."
He reminded us again that this is our most promising chance to deny the UMNO and BN 2/3 majority for the sake of our future and for the next generations. " Stop UMNO's hegemony political domination!"
If you missed Lim Kit Siang's speech, please visit http://elluminate.blogspot.com/ for his speech video clip. Thanks to John!
Relatives, Friends and Neighbours of Subang Jaya :
ARE YOU READY TO ANSWER THE CALL FOR CHANGE?
We are Subang Jayans, the GIANTS of the Nation ! Let us LEAD the CHANGE !!!
VOTE FOR THE CHANGE ! VOTE OPPOSITION ! VOTE HANNAH YEOH FOR ADUN Subang Jaya ! VOTE GWO-BURNE FOR MP Kelana Jaya !
P/S: As we were busy clapping and shouting, we didn't manage to take much notes on Mr. Lim's speech. Please contribute / sharing your input by adding comments to benefit those who left earlier OR who couldn't make it. Thank you.

Say NO to Ah BeNg and their "F" Words

The Warning of Teresa Kok is REAL : BN is using their Dirty Tricks when approaching the Polling Day!

Lots of Ah BeNg are spreading the words now! They keep on using the 4-letters "F" words everywhere to the people. Beware and warn your fellow friends and neighbours : Do not fall into the TRAP!

FEAR
"We do FEAR that we cannot fight for more rights and allocations for the Chinese & Indians if we are not strong enough in the coalition."
These are the Basic Rights for all Malaysian! We shouldn't even have to fight to get it! The Government should be given them to us! We do FEAR if we elect BN - we will loose more Rights than what we have already lost!

"Remember May 13? You dare to let DAP win?"
Somehow, there is a Barisan Neighbours (lots of Aunties) influncing the Mothers and Aunties around - asking them to stock up food because the nation is going to chaos because DAP is going to win. May 13 was planned by UMNO! Is that mean MCA already knew UMNO is planning for another one?

FEAR NO MORE! We already lost our basic rights and treated unfairly! We don't want Ah BeNg's "F" word! We want DAP's "F" word : FAIRNESS TO ALL !!!

FOOL
"Don't let the Oppositions FOOL you with their empty promises!"
But we have been fooled by Ah BeNg for the past 50 years with their twisted and vacuumed promises! What do we loose with trusting Barisan Harapan for 5 years while we already lost 50 years when trusting in Ah BeNg?

"Do not act irrationally or out of emotion!"
Who is not rational now? After 50 years of lessons, we have learnt well and thought thoroughly! Look at the States, Australia and Britain - They do not need 50 years to think! The People decide! The People is the Boss, not the Fool! Don't treat us like FOOLs! We are FOOLs if we trust in Ah BeNg again!

DO NOT BE FOOL ANYMORE! We have trusted Ah BeNg for 1/2 century and see where we are! We don't want Ah BeNg's "F" word! We want DAP's "F" word : FREEDOM TOALL !!!

FUND
"If you don't elect us, we cannot get FUND to develop the constituency!"
Oh yeah! What kind of development Ah BeNg is talking about? Increasing crime rate? More conjestion? Worse corruption? Where is our MONEY? Where did the 184 million went in year 2006? Longkang or Ah BeNg's Pocket? That's our MONEY! Why do we need to ask? We are not beggers! We are Subang GIANTS!

"Look at DAP areas and Kelantan! There will be no development if you elect DAP or Opposition!"
What other development Ah BeNg is talking about for Subang? Please stop unnecessary development! Wasting money (built and demolished), not beneficial to the people, causing more conjestion! Are these the kind of development Ah BeNg meant? How about our green lung? How about our safety? At least you don't have to worry for snatch thieves when you walk around in Kelantan!

THE FUND IS RIGHTFULLY OURS! We are not beggers, but Ah BeNg is the thieve - stealing our money! We don't want Ah BeNg's "F" word! We want DAP's "F" word : FUTURE FOR ALL !!!

P/S: There are, indeed, rumours and scary words been passing around in the neighbourhood now. The impact is not to be underestimated as many voters are people are fearful of social unrest. Do not trust these words! It's never true! Please help to counter these rumours! Spread the word of PEACE, not the FEAR as Ah BeNg spreading!

Subang Jayan has Spoken Tonight (March 1)

Tonight, it's a Record-Breaking night for Subang Jaya and her People!

There were at least 6000 people at the Padang of USJ 12/2 attending DAP Ceramah tonight, doubled the number on February 27 which was was held at SS18.

Started with inspiring speakers such as Tony Pua (DAP Candidate for MP Petaling North) and Nurul Izah (PKR Candidate for MP Lembah Pantai, Anwar Ibrahim's eldest daughter), the crowd of Subang Jayans were brought into the mood for the Ceramah!

Backed by famous blogger, Harris Ibrahim, the nation's most-famous-bloggers-town was brought with real HOPE for the future of the Malaysian People - satu bangsa Malaysia! "Support Barisan Harapan, not Barisan Neraka!"

Followed by the man with integrity, Loh Gwo Burne (PKR Candidate for MP Kelana Jaya) who has no FEAR for Ah BeNg. He challenged the Subang Jayans to give him the place in Parliament to speak for the people for him cannot be bought over (otherwise, he'd have sold his Lingam video to Pak Lah).

The Subang Jayans were then led by DAP Veteran Mr Choi to sing a new song for Subang Jayans:
HAPPY HAPPY SUBANG JAYA... HAPPY HAPPY SUBANG JAYA... HAPPY HAPPY SUBANG JAYA... WHEN HANNAH IS MARCHING IN... (to Selangor State Assembly)

HANNAH IS HOT !!! Hot Green Chili Padi !!!
Our very own Hannah Yeoh (DAP Candidate for ADUN Subang Jaya) has again demonstrated her quality, capability and potential tonight with her outstanding performance. Revealing the financial reports of MPSJ, she has shown Subang Jayans the urgency and desperate need of a ADUN of integrity, clean and no fear to corruption for Subang Jaya! She is going to make us great not by moving forward alone, but by moving forward together! Unlike Ah BeNg & gang, only sent one man upward and brought the rest downward.

LET SUBANG JAYANS LEAD THE CHANGE
Teng Chang Khim (2-term ADUN Sg Pinang) speech was the peak of the night. Quoting of his track records in fighting for the people in Selangor State Assembly, we have no doubt that DAP ADUN will never kneel down and disappoint the people despite the lost of his financial support. He has assured that he'd guide Hannah well once we bring her to the State Assembly with him. He has also urged the Subang Jayans (whom he is also one) to LEAD THE CHANGE because we are the most matured, most educated and most well-developed township in Malaysia. Change must start from here! LET's CHANGE!

FEAR NO MORE
The night ended with speech from Teresa Kok (Sassy MP from Seputeh, also Candidate for ADUN Kinrara). This great voice for the people in Parliament is going to add to the strength of State Assembly once elected in Kinrara. So, Subang Jayans from USJ16 onward, do not forget to vote for Teresa Kok. Her final urge to the Subang Jayans : do not just let the crowd be crowd, please convert it to VOTE, and do not fall for the dirty treaks that Ah BeNg always used approaching the Election Day - create FEAR so people vote for Ah BeNg. FEAR no more, Subang Jayans. LET's CHANGE!

LIM KIT SIANG COMING TO TOWN
Now, all Subang Jayans is anticipating another great night like this on Monday (March 3) at the same venue : LIM KIT SIANG is coming to town! He will be here to support Hannah Yeoh and the Subang Jayans. Please spread the word around and make sure everyone is there!
